Turn on phone flashlight while recording

I bought your phone mount, which replaced my front light. I'd like to have the light on my phone on, to make me more visible to others, but opening the dashcam.bike app shuts off the flashlight. I would like if the app could turn on the flashlight while recording video. This could also double as a safety feature by pointing out the recording device to potentially aggressive people.

Sometimes I use my phone as a backup front light, it would be nice to be able to turn on the flashlight while the app is open and possibly have different modes like strobe and brightness level settings.

I agree that it won't match a real bike light. I generally don't ride in full darkness, and it is always good to have 2 front lights- "one to see and one to be seen". Thanks for considering this feature.

Great suggestion, Edward -- I'll look into this! I'm not sure how bright the phone will be relative to a real bike light, and it will certainly drain the battery faster, but I agree that this can be useful in addition to bike lights -- especially if your light dies.
